Vireo Spend terms

Vireo Spend is in a closed first wave of twenty places. Access is by invitation to a specific email address and is not transferable. We may change what Spend does, pause it, or end the wave; if we end it, we will tell you and you will have the chance to take a copy of your records first.

Spend helps you write down what happened with your money and look at it afterwards. It is not accounting software, not a tax record, and not financial, investment, or legal advice. It is not a bank: Vireo never holds, moves, or has access to your money.

If you need a figure to be authoritative — for a tax filing, a loan, a dispute — use the source it came from, not Spend.

Everything in your ledger comes from you. Spend does not verify an amount against a bank, and cannot tell whether an entry was mistyped or left out. The accuracy of what you see back depends on the accuracy of what you put in.

The arithmetic itself is ours: totals and conversions are computed by Vireo from your own entries, at the exchange rate recorded for that entry’s Belize date, and the database rechecks the result rather than trusting it.

Where Spend points something out about your week, it is describing a pattern in entries you have already confirmed, using a published rule. It is not a recommendation to spend, save, borrow, or change anything, and it does not take account of your circumstances.

Speaking an entry is a convenience with a daily limit, and it can be unavailable. When it is, Spend says so plainly and typing still works. A spoken entry is always shown to you to check before it is saved — Spend does not record an entry you have not seen.

You can build an export or delete your Spend records at any time, without asking us. Neither depends on the beta continuing, and neither requires a reason.

There is no fee for taking part in Wave 1 and no payment method is collected. If Spend is ever offered on paid terms, that will be a new agreement you choose separately.

Vireo Spend is operated by Vireo Technologies Limited in Belize, and these terms are governed by the laws of Belize.
