Account closing

Vireo Book, Vireo Gas, and Vireo Transit use the same Vireo ID. Closing it closes that shared account and removes access to every Vireo app connected to it. You do not need to install an app to make the request.

Email contact@vireo.bz from the email address on your Vireo ID. Use the subject “Close my Vireo ID” and include the phone number on the account. If you no longer control that email address, explain that in the message so we can use another appropriate verification step.

Before closing the account, we will confirm that the request came from the account holder. We will ask only for information reasonably needed to verify the request and protect the account from an unauthorised closure.

When the request is approved, direct identity fields such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile image are removed or anonymised. App access, active sessions, devices, entitlements, and business memberships connected to that Vireo ID are revoked.

Completed orders, appointments, tickets, and related transaction records may be retained where a business or Vireo has a legitimate legal, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reason to keep them. The account identifier may remain so those records continue to resolve, but it is no longer an active account and its direct identity fields are removed. Retained records are not used to continue marketing to you.

If you are the only active owner of a business on Vireo, the account cannot be closed until ownership is transferred or the business is closed. We will tell you which business is blocking the request and what must happen next.

We aim to complete a verified request within a few days and no later than 30 days unless a lawful reason requires more time. We will confirm when the account has been closed or explain what is still needed.

Closing is intended to be permanent. You may need a new Vireo ID if you return later.
