Privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to Vireo Book, Vireo Gas, Vireo Transit, Vireo Properties, the shared Vireo ID, vireo.bz, and other websites operated by Vireo Technologies Limited in Belize. In this policy, “Vireo”, “we”, and “us” mean Vireo Technologies Limited.

Depending on the product you use, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, saved addresses, language, notification choices, account and device information, and the details you choose to provide in an enquiry.

When you use a Vireo product, we may also process information needed for that service: appointments and service requests in Vireo Book; orders, delivery details, and payment proof in Vireo Gas; journeys, tickets, and location contributions in Vireo Transit; and property enquiries, preferences, and communications in Vireo Properties.

Our websites may collect page views, referral or campaign information, browser and device details, and interaction data when you consent to analytics. Form inputs are masked in session replay. We do not sell personal information.

We use information to create and secure your Vireo ID, provide the service you request, connect you with the relevant business or operator, send service messages, remember your choices, prevent misuse, answer support requests, and understand how our products can be improved.

We use advertising and website measurement only where consent or another valid basis allows it. Declining optional analytics does not prevent you from using the public website.

A business receives only the information needed to fulfil the transaction you asked it to handle. For example, a salon receives appointment details, a gas shop and driver receive order and delivery details, and a property representative receives the enquiry you send.

We use service providers to operate Vireo. These include Supabase for app accounts, databases, and file storage; Vercel and Neon for websites and website data; Google for services such as maps, notifications, and app distribution; PostHog for consent-based website analytics; and Resend for email delivery. They process information for the service they provide to us and under their own applicable terms.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect a person or the service, or as part of a business reorganisation where appropriate safeguards apply.

Some Vireo features use location to find a nearby service or stop, support a delivery, show a journey, or record a contribution you choose to make. Your device asks for permission before Vireo can use location. You can change that permission in your device settings, although a feature that needs location may then be unavailable.

We do not sell location information or use precise location to build advertising profiles.

Vireo uses encrypted network connections, access controls, database-level permissions, and audit records appropriate to the service. Access is limited to the person, business, operator, or support role that needs it. No online service can promise absolute security.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, including support, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, and legal obligations.

When a Vireo ID is closed, its direct identity fields are removed or anonymised and access to the apps is revoked. Transaction records such as completed orders, appointments, and tickets may be retained where a business or Vireo has a legitimate legal, accounting, safety, or dispute-resolution reason to keep them. Retained records are not used to keep marketing to a closed account. The account-closing page explains how to make a request.

You can update available account details and notification choices in the apps, control device permissions in your device settings, and decline optional website analytics. You may also ask us for access to, correction of, or closing of your account information by contacting us.

Vireo products are not directed to children. They are intended for people who can hold an account and arrange a service, order, appointment, ticket, or property enquiry.

We may update this policy when our products or legal obligations change. We will change the date shown on this page and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
