This page explains what is specific to Vireo Book. The Vireo-wide privacy also applies and covers the shared Vireo layer.

Booking information

Book processes the service, time, business, name, contact detail, and appointment information needed to request and manage a booking. A business may also invite an existing customer or record an appointment made by phone or in person.

A guest can book without creating a Vireo ID. If you later choose to claim the appointment, Book connects it to your verified Vireo ID rather than creating a second identity.

Who sees an appointment

The business handling the appointment sees the information it needs to deliver and manage the service. A guest opens the appointment through a private link. Each business is restricted to its own appointments.

Photos and payment proof

A reference photo is used to help the business understand the requested work. A transfer receipt is private to the appointment and is evidence for the business to review, not confirmation that money was received.

Book removes a payment-proof file 30 days after the appointment is completed, cancelled, expires, or is marked as a no-show. Security and transaction records may be kept for the periods described in Vireo’s main privacy policy.
